Looking back at the summer's side projects and the one client thing that ate up August.

August was almost entirely a client project — a large-scale rebuild I'd agreed to that turned out to be more architectural work than either of us expected. It shipped in September, two weeks late. The client was patient; the codebase is now something I'm proud of.

The side projects that survived the summer: the caustics shader (shipped in July), and the early stages of what became the Marble experiment. The notes prototype got shelved again. Maybe next quarter.

Going into autumn: I want to write more here, ship the rooms SFX library, and finish at least one piece of music I've been circling for months.
