Three months with Logic Pro X — a developer's notes.

I made the switch reluctantly, mostly because a friend pointed out that I was fighting Ableton's MIDI region editing every session. Three months later I don't miss Ableton for composition work, though I still reach for it when I want to do something with clips and scenes.
The thing Logic gets most right is the score editor, which I almost never use but appreciate existing. The thing it gets most wrong is the channel strip, which feels designed by committee. The shortcuts are mostly muscle memory now.
Would I go back? Probably not for the things I'm doing right now. Ask me again in another three months.
